The Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter did an excellent job this year.  We were all pleased to be helping a great local organization who invest funds into helping men, women and children through a rough time.  Oh, and the BBQ samples I had were incredible!

I must say, that my image of these workers has changed.  They have to keep track of a lot of information and procedures to keep our kids safe in the cafeteria.  The standards for their health inspection scores is very high and they have to meet them.  I feel a lot better about sending Lauren to lunch with money to buy food in her cafeteria.

During the month of June, our net profits will be given to the Good Neighbor Shelter here in Cartersville.  This group does a great job of assisting men, women and children who are going through a rough spot.

We have garnered a certain amount of fame for the quality of our decafs, and we beam with pride every time a customer tells us that we have the best decafs they have ever tasted. Since a great decaf can never be made from an inferior coffee, we begin by selecting coffees of the same world-class quality as our caffeinated coffees, often from the very same farms.
